Montgomery County Coroner Dr. James Davis in Dayton says the problem was discovered after one family said it received the wrong personal effects. The men were on board a small plane that crashed in rural Union County on March 5. The local coroner says he mixed up the men's wallets and misidentified the badly injured bodies at the scene. Montgomery County officials later identified them correctly using dental records, but Davis says his office didn't notice the findings conflicted with the initial IDs. Authorities are working with the families to get the remains to the right places. ___ Information from: Dayton Daily News, http://www.daytondailynews.com Copyright 2010 The Associated Press.
